Now, on your Samsung Galaxy Note20, you can access and interact with your favorite mobile apps directly on your Windows 10 PC through the Your Phone app. Microsoft’s Your Phone app and Link to Windows integration on select Samsung devices, enables you to stay in the flow by allowing you to take calls, check notifications, see photos and messages, all from your Windows 10 PC. A phone buzzing while you are in your work flow on your PC is the last thing you need, especially with the constant stream of interruptions we are facing while trying to work in new conditions. Unfortunately there wasn’t an ETA mentioned for this and I’m kind of bummed right nowĪs clear from the notification you just saw, the company plans of substituting SideSync with Samsung Flow which ‘allows content and activity to be transferred to a different device’ (as per the official documentation). After it had updated it popped up a disclaimer about from the S9 on, sidesync will no longer support these phones and that samsung flow will incorporate a screen mirroring option in future update.
SAMSUNG FLOW SUPPORT UPDATE
I logged in to my windows pc and an update popped up for sidesync. One of the users also shared the notification that popped up on their system, clearly stating the service has been terminated. Samsung are working on it as soon as possible for more improvements.” Upon checking, we do apologise but at Sidesync is not compatible with S9 at the moment. “Thank you so much for patiently waiting. In a look out for more information, we stumbled upon some threads on different help forums, where S9 users shared that Samsung Support also confirmed the news to them. SideSync’s page on Samsung’s official website clearly states that the service is not available for Galaxy S9 an S9+. Seems like Samsung’s latest Galaxy S9 flagship smartphone isn’t playing well with the company’s own services.įirst, it was Samsung Pay that went incompatible with the device (although, the problem was resolved quickly).Īnd now it’s coming to light that support for the SideSync service has been removed all together.
